Unique shape, superior texture, color and flavor in a stylish form.  Sow seeds every two weeks beginning in April for continuous supply.  Beets prefer cool weather and are at their tender best when grown quickly with plenty of moisture.  Soil should be loamy and hing in organic matter.  As with all root crops, thinning is essential.  Harvest: Before 60 days as roots can become woody when left in the ground longer.  Average size at maturity is 1" diameter and 6"-8" long.  Good source of Vitamin B, Calcium and Iron.
