69 Days to maturity from transplant date.  Vigorous plants produce round, blue-green heads 2-3lbs.  5'=6' in diameter.  Start indoors in individual peat pots.  Transplant into fertile well drained soil in full sun area.  It is important that the soil around the plant be firm and sturdy.  Harvesting: Pick when heads become solid, cutting just below the lowest leaves.  Uses: The vitamin rich heads are delicious cooked, or raw in salads and coleslaw.  Good source of Vitamins A & C
