Ppencil Pod Black Wax-Yellow Bean.  Sets a good yield of yellow, long string pods on upright bush.  Excellent fresh, frozen or canned.  Any good well drained soil with a pH above 6 will grow beans.  Beans do not tolerate cool wet soil.  AFter last frost date soil approximately 50 degrees Farenheit, sow seed 2" apart, 1" deep in rows 30" apart.  Thinning is not necessary.  For a continuous supply plant every 3 weeks until July 15th.  Harvesting: Maturity 50-60 days.  Good source of protein, dietary fiber, vitamins A & C.
